Travis Kelce has revealed that his wedding outfit included a tall white top hat, giving fans one of the first details about what he wore when he married Taylor Swift.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end shared the detail during an ESPN interview with Chris Berman, where he appeared alongside teammate Patrick Mahomes ahead of the new NFL season.
Berman brought up the reported hat directly, asking Kelce: “Didn’t you have some big, tall white top hat?”
Kelce confirmed it and suggested that the hat was only part of a much bigger wedding look.
“Oh yeah! I had the full gamut, man,” he said.
While Kelce did not reveal the full outfit, he was more open about how much the wedding meant to him.
He described marrying Swift as “the best night of my life” and said the occasion exceeded anything he had imagined.
“Marrying Taylor was, you know, more than I could have ever dreamed it to be because of all the people that showed up and the amount of love that was in the air,” he said.
Mahomes, who attended the wedding with his wife Brittany Mahomes, also recalled the occasion fondly.
“I was super excited to see him, to see Taylor, come together,” Mahomes said, adding that the couple were “two special people.”
He described the celebration as “one of the best nights of all time” while sitting beside his newlywed teammate.
Kelce and Swift’s wedding took place at Madison Square Garden in New York City on July 3, with approximately 1,000 guests reportedly in attendance.
