Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have reportedly added a white Samoyed to their family, with reports suggesting they may have named the dog Wendy.
The couple’s new pet has already stepped into the spotlight, appearing alongside Kelce in Tommy Hilfiger’s Fall 2026 campaign.
The appearance comes nearly two months after Swift and Kelce reportedly married at Madison Square Garden on July 3, where photos showed a picture of the couple with their dog on display.
But the Samoyed was seen publicly even earlier. In March, a paparazzi video showed the dog jumping out of Swift’s car at a New York airport.
Fans had already connected the dog to a mystery Christmas gift Kelce received from Swift. During a December 31 episode of New Heights, Kelce declined to reveal what Swift had given him, saying, “The best gift that I got was from Taylor. But it gives away things that we’re trying to keep in-house, so not going to say it. I love you, Tay.”
The reported name Wendy could also have a Swift connection. It may refer to Wendy Darling, the Peter Pan character referenced by Swift in songs including “Cardigan” and “Peter.”
Neither Swift nor Kelce has confirmed the dog’s name. E! News has contacted their representatives for comment but had not received a response.
The new addition also marks a change for Swift, who has long been known for her love of cats. She has three, Scottish Folds Meredith Grey and Olivia Benson, and Ragdoll Benjamin Button.
Over the years, Swift has acknowledged that her cats are not always suited to the public-facing side of her life, making the Samoyed’s apparent comfort in front of cameras a different experience.
