Actress Mia Goth has officially filed for divorce from Shia LaBeouf on the night of Tuesday, October 6, 2026, more than a year after the couple quietly separated.
According to court documents obtained, Goth, 32, cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the filing, which listed July 28, 2025, as the official date of separation.
She is seeking primary legal and physical custody of their four-year-old daughter Isabel and has asked the court to waive spousal support for either party.
The filing formally closes a chapter on one of Hollywood’s most complex relationships, as the two first met on the set of Lars von Trier’s Nymphomaniac in 2012 before getting married in Las Vegas in 2016.
After several turbulent years that included periods of separation and reunion, they welcomed Isabel in 2022.
Their quiet split in July 2025 went unconfirmed publicly until February 2026, when Page Six revealed Shia LaBeouf had relocated to New Orleans to be closer to his family, around the same time he was arrested there on two counts of simple battery after a bar altercation.
Shia LaBeouf had addressed the relationship in a February 2026 interview with Channel 5, admitting he felt he had failed the marriage while noting they were in a good spot in terms of their co-parenting arrangement and describing Mia Goth as a good woman.
