Travis Kelce turned 37 on Sunday, October 5, 2026, and while a birthday dinner in Manhattan with his wife Taylor Swift certainly helped mark the occasion, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end made it very clear what really made his day.
Speaking on the New Heights podcast with his brother Jason, Kelce said the single best piece of news he received on his birthday was not any gift or surprise, it was that the Chiefs had beaten the Las Vegas Raiders the day before to go to 4-0 on the season.
“It was a good day. Got some food out here in New York and went to one of my favourite spots, Torrisi. Hung out with Tay. And the best news I got on my birthday was that we got a victory,” Kelce said.
“That was the happiness I had around my birthday, I got the win going into the bye and we’re 4-0.”
When Jason pressed him on whether there was anything to share about gifts he had received, Travis shut it down.
“No, I would love to just keep moving,” he said.
The dinner at Torrisi marked the couple’s first birthday celebration together as a married couple, having tied the knot at Madison Square Garden on July 3, 2026.
Taylor Swift dressed in a black lace-trimmed Simkhai midi dress paired with an oversized Saint Laurent leather coat, a Givenchy bag, and strappy heels, while Travis Kelce kept it casual in a black cardigan, black trousers, and black leather shoes.
The night was a double celebration of sorts as the same evening, Taylor’s new single “Patient Zero” debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, giving her plenty to raise a glass to alongside her husband’s birthday.
