Alix Earle’s father, Thomas “TJ” Earle, has revealed that he paid for half of his daughter’s breast augmentation after she described the procedure as an “investment in her future.”
The revelation came in the first season of Earle Meets World, where Alix’s family discussed the 25-year-old TikToker’s decision to undergo the surgery in 2022.
Her younger sister, Ashtin, recalled Alix asking their father to help pay for the procedure.
“She was like, ‘It’s an investment in my future.’ She blew up after she got those boobs,” Ashtin said.
TJ agreed with his daughter’s assessment and explained how he contributed to the surgery.
“For Christmas, which I’m sure sounds a little weird, but in a box, I put two oranges. I think I wrote on one, ‘You pay for this boob’ and on the other, ‘I’ll pay for this boob,’ and then I paid for a boob,” he said.
TJ admitted that his sense of humour can sometimes get him into trouble.
“My sense of humor is probably a little bit more than most people can appreciate. So yeah, I frequently get myself in trouble by saying things I probably shouldn’t be saying,” he said.
Alix had previously spoken about the procedure in 2023, revealing that she had 275cc moderate-profile implants placed under the muscle to give them a more natural appearance.
At the time, she encouraged women to make decisions about their bodies for themselves rather than worrying about other people’s opinions.
“This is not me convincing anyone to get a boob job, but if there is something you want to do for yourself, then do it. Don’t care about what other people think,” she said.
She also revealed that her parents were not initially supportive of the idea. Alix said she had discussed the surgery with them several times but was repeatedly told to drop the idea.
“I would also talk about it to my parents and they’d always be like, ‘Alix, shut up.’ So I was like, if I save up money and do it myself, there’s nothing you can really do about that,” she said.
Despite that initial resistance, her father eventually agreed to pay for half of the procedure, turning what Alix had called an “investment in her future” into a family-supported decision.
